Hmm…been reading through my archives, sharing stories with different folks. I’ve always wanted to cull down the archives and self publish a book. But what would I call it? How about “Every Patient has a Story…” What do you think? It would need a subtitle for sure.

I wrote to you once a long time ago-I was an intern I believe. I was also blogging, albeit on a private website that only my friends and family could access. After second year of residency I took those medical blogs down, finished blogging a bit through third year, took those down as well and am now working on piecing them all together into a book. Through the years of blogging, your writing continues to improve. If you want, email me and we can chat about how to get the process going-It took me awhile to figure it out but now it’s steaming full steam ahead. You wouldn’t have to self-publish the book-you could get published very easily with the platform you have (audience who follow your blog)-you just need to learn how to write a query letter (I am still struggling with that one). There are some websites I can refer you to. this is very doable! I am going to a medical writer’s conference in cape cod next month-you should consider starting to work on your book and attending it next year! (ps-this name and email are my pen name…..) Write your book-you have a great voice that the world wants to hear!
I know nothing about writing, but I love reading. Your blog is wonderful, and I will never be able to sit at my computer long enough to read all those wonderful archives. I would love to have a book where I could stretch out on my bed, or sit in my recliner, and read it all!
Please, do it.
